摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter describes the measurement of kinetic rate constants for binding 1α,25-dihydroxyvitamin D 3 to its chick intestinal mucosa receptor, using a hydroxyapatite batch assay. [1α,25-(OH) 2 ] is believed act as classical steroid hormone. It has been demonstrated that there are specific cytoplasmic and chromatin-extractable receptors this in intestine parathyroid glands. In addition, lα,25-(OH) have rat calvaria. The lack convenient assay system these macromolecular complexes their relative instability hindered detailed characterization. study, adapted quantitation 1α,25-(OH) receptor complex from cytosol. provided first system, which facile enough be used study kinetics processes. procedure application association dissociation receptor.
