摘要: OBJECTIVE The aim of this study was to investigate the ability Enamel Matrix Derivative (EMD) on vertical bone regeneration around dental implants placed in an extra-oral rabbit model. MATERIAL AND METHODS A total 30 Straumann BL were partially embedded transverse orientation into posterior mandibles 15 rabbits. Macro-structuring BiPhasicCaPST (BCPT1), micro-structuring (BCPT2), and deproteinized bovine mineral (DBBM) implant covered with a scaffold stabilizing "umbrella." EMD incorporated within for test sites, but not control sites. Histological analysis performed retrieved specimens after 10 weeks healing assess new formation. RESULTS All treatment groups displayed supracrestal formation as determined by histomorphometric measurements, mean values height ranging between 0.62 1.13 mm. revealed higher (%) sites where (34.7, 95%CI: 27.1-39.4) released from scaffold, whereas group without release (26.4, 16.3-31.9) (P = 0.069). The fBIC BCPT2 increased addition relative no (67.2, 48.6-84.1) (54.7, 32.3-68.9), respectively). BCPT2/EMD DBBM/EMD interventions showed greatest density (BA/TA), respectively, (12.8, 8.9-36.5) (11.2, 6.3-16.4) ROI 1. Values 2 were, similarly, (24.9, 17.2-31.7) (27.7, 19.2-35.3). BA/TA differences statistically significant (P = 0.026), well DBBM (P = 0.038). CONCLUSIONS A layer formed both controls. adjacent bone-level SLActive surface retention umbrella consistently regenerated greater along length implant.
