摘要: AbstractA number of additions have been made to the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code Fluent in order model hydrogen permeation. In addition dynamics, solves for heat transfer coupled solid and regions, advection-diffusion equations scalar quantities such as concentration. The latter modified with additional satisfy Sievert’s Law at solid-fluid interfaces allow temperature dependent diffusivity permeability. The method has employed Tritium Heat Exchanger (THX) experiment INL, which investigates permeation helium candidate structural materials high gas reactor exchangers. Arrhenius law parameters used Inconel 617 are initially determined via a simplified analytical method, resulting predictions compare favorably data.
