摘要: Abstract The effects of sediment water from crude oil on Q235B carbon steel corrosion were investigated through electrochemical measurements, surface characterization, mass loss, and gain techniques for 11 weeks immersion. Results showed that the surfaces covered by scale deposits consisting mainly CaCO3. Corrosion pits initiated under deposits. Moreover, a galvanic cell was generated deposits, resulting in localized dissolution. However, blocked transport products into bulk solution, thereby causing accumulation
