摘要: We use neutron scattering to show that the low-temperature, short-range ordered spin configuration in geometrically frustrated magnet SrCr9pGa12 − 9pO19 (p = 0.92(5)) is composed of small groups spins whose dipole moments cancel. The local magnetic fluctuation spectrum, χ''(ω), vanishes approximately proportion ω for < 0.5 meV, distinguishing this from conventional glasses which display a featureless continuum excited states. argue behavior results absence local, low-energy excitations zero-spin clusters frozen composed.
