摘要: Although various models have been proposed in an attempt to predict the usefulness of a radiographic image terms its physical characteristics, no previous work has shown whether single quality index, such as signal-to-noise ratio, can reliably performance human observer over broad range characteristics. We studied relationship between and visual for task detecting nylon beads radiographs. Thirty-seven imaging cases with different combinations characteristics were considered; these included variations object size magnification, X-ray beam quality, screen-film system, contact, film density illumination, viewing distance. For each case, was quantified 2AFC detection experiment. Physical indices calculated according eight process; combined data regarding attenuation, system MTF, gradient, noise Wiener spectrum, response. The results this indicate that, conditions studied, most closely resembles that sub-optimal statistical decision process.
