摘要: The study was carried out from April 2000-March 2001. During this period 49 samples of dust, litter, debris and residues cages run-offs mammals, birds reptiles in the Silesian Zoo, were examined for presence mites, especially allergenic taxa. Mites extracted using Berlese method preserved 70 % ethanol. For identification, mites mounted Hoyer's medium on microscope slides. found 44 analyzed (89.8 %). A total 5,097 collected, which 60.3 collected spring, whereas only 13 summer 24.1 autumn. remaining 2.6 mite population winter. Majority (82.7 %) aviaries macaws cockatiels (Ara ararauna Nymphicus hollandicus). 10 species astigmatid identified that belong to 4 families--Acaridae, Glycyphagidae, Anoetidae Pyroglyphidae. Generally, order Astigmata constituted 49.5 count. Among them Acarus farris predominant (34 count), followed by Tyrophagus putrescentiae (4.7 %), Caloglyphus sp. (4.35 immobilis (4.31 Dermatophagoides farinae, house-dust-mite species, first time environment. D. farinae (0.05 population) associated with parrots, canids artiodactyls. Summarizing, it should be stressed, different parrots terrariums snakes are important sources some A. T. putrescentiae, might cause allergies workers.
