摘要: Abstract. Urban sprawl and the related landscape fragmentation is a Europe-wide challenge in context of sustainable urban planning. The URBan land recycling Information services for Sustainable cities (URBIS) project aims development, implementation, validation web-based information vacant European functional areas order to provide end-users with site specific characteristics facilitate identification evaluation potential development areas. URBIS are developed based on open geospatial data. In particular, Copernicus Atlas thematic layers serve as main data source an initial inventory sites. combination remotely sensed like SPOT5 images ancillary datasets OpenStreetMap, detailed extracted. Services defined three categories: i) baseline services, which comprise typology land, ii) update regular well analysis use dynamics changes, iii) deliver tailored end-users' needs.
