Design of downlink training sequences for FDD massive MIMO systems

摘要: In the massive Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) system, a large number of transmit antennas are deployed at base stations. The MIMO has been proposed as one key technologies for next generation wireless communication systems. A major problem in practice to realize capacity improvement promised by technology is availability channel state information downlink station. frequency division duplexing (FDD) systems, overhead training sequences could overwhelm precious resources due antennas. Therefore, design approach that exploits spatial correlation reduce sequences. optimal sequence structure analyzed and length which maximize achievable data rate evaluated Monte Carlo simulations this paper. It shown significantly reduced trade-off between accuracy estimation system achieved simultaneously method.
