摘要: Electromagnetic interference of pacemaker systems has been well established and can lead to an inappropriate function these devices. Recently, implantable loop recorder (ILR) (REVEAL, Medtronic Inc.) introduced evaluate the possible arrhythmic etiology patients with recurrent syncope. We evaluated this device in two ILR three nonimplanted ILRs four electromagnetic sources: cellular phones (GSMs), electronic article surveillance (EASs), metal detector gates (MDGs), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The GSM did not affect appropriate whereas radiofrequency (RF) EAS could interfere normal implanted systems.
