摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter discusses the regulation of adenine nucleotide translocation by long chain fatty acyl CoA esters. The translocase is recognized to be one most important enzymes in cell bioenergetics. A model for mechanism had take into consideration asymmetry binding inhibitors. Long esters are natural effectors translocator. receptors on ADP/ATP carrier asymmetric or different conformational states that when bound cytosolic side inner membrane, it inhibits like atractylate, whereas matrix bongkrekic acid. can physiologically translocated across mitochondrial membrane acylcarnitine transferase and carnitine-acylcarnitine system.
