摘要: This study elucidates the caryotypes in two varieties of Phragmites communis Danube Delta, by means an original squash technique. The studied above coexist floating reed biocoenosis, but there exist different masses without any transitory forms. flavescens and gigantissima have morphophysiological characteristics, latter variety flowers later shows gigantism characteristics polyploids. Comparative analysis that is probably a natural auto-octopolyploid (2n = 8x 96) relatively recent origin, as chromosomes can be grouped into units 4. origin 4x 48) not certain, because only pairs within caryotype. It seems this variety, widespread all over earth, has older since rearrangements determining present configuration caryotype occurred at chromosome level.
