摘要: During the last 10 years, use of model-based control in industry has increased dramatically. Distillation towers are prime targets for such controllers because their long dynamics, multivariable nature, and requirement tight composition (motivated by efforts to improve product quality through decreased variation). In addition, distillation commonly unit or plant constraint higher production. This is due primarily high cost debottlenecking replacing towers.
