摘要: The two essential insect hormones, ecdysteroids and juvenile are possessed not only by insects, but also widely arthropods, regulate various developmental physiological processes. In contrast to the abundant information about molecular endocrine mechanisms in knowledge of non-insect arthropod endocrinology is still limited. this review, we summarize recent reports basis these major hormones freshwater microcrustacean Daphnia, a keystone taxon limnetic ecology bioindicator environmental studies. Comprehensive comparisons signaling pathways between insects daphnids may shed light on regulatory biological phenomena and, moreover, evolutionary processes species.
