摘要: Four studies used experimental and correlational methods to test predictions about the antecedents of shame guilt derived from an appraisal-based model self-conscious emotions (Tracy & Robins, 2004). Results were consistent with predicted relations between appraisals (i.e., causal attributions) emotions. Specifically, (a) internal attributions positively related both guilt; (b) chronic tendency make external was experience shame; (c) internal, stable, uncontrollable for failure shame, whereas unstable, controllable guilt. Emotions assessed using a variety methods, so converging results across indicate robustness findings provide support theoretical model.
