摘要: The process for the production of trifluoroacetyl chloride which comprises reacting 1,1-dichloro-2,2,2-trifluoroethane containing less than about 0.1% water by weight with oxygen in gas phase at a temperature up to 250*C presence ultraviolet radiation. Desirably reaction is conducted continuously an average residence time 0.1 1 hour.
