摘要: We propose an accurate clocked single-spin source for ac-spintronic applications. Our device consists of a superconducting island covered by ferromagnetic insulator layer through which it is coupled to leads. Single-particle transfer relies on the energy gaps and island's charging energy, enabled bias time-periodic gate voltage. Accurate spin achieved polarizes island, provides spin-selective tunneling barriers improves precision suppressing Andreev reflection. analyze realistic material combinations experimental requirements allow current in MHz regime.
