摘要: Abstract The super-hydrophobic surfaces enhance the transport coefficients of condensation process and therefore it is very useful in water harvesting devices. In present study, substrates are fabricated by growing self-assembled silica nanostructures on copper (Cu) aluminum (Al) a sol-gel based solution immersion method at room temperature. contact angles measured were 155 ± 2° 156 ± 2° coated Cu Al respectively. rate surface significantly increased from 188 ml/m2-hr to 630 ml/m2-hr, while that 190 ml/m2-hr 650 ml/m2-hr. work shows metallic with coatings have excellent potential for moist air, they effectively used more than 120 days.
