On the Enskog-Thorne theory for a binary mixture of dissimilar rigid spheres

摘要: Thorne's method for obtaining transport coefficients in a binary rigid-sphere mixture is reexamined. First, close look taken at the way which point where Enskog functionsx ij are evaluated introduced. Second, calculation of fluxes system and given. results found to be correct independent choice transfer plane located. This does not hold true diffusion flux. It shown that different force obtained each selection only those diffusional effects first order density consistent with irreversible thermodynamics.
