摘要: Several mechanisms have been proposed to account for perceptual alterations during binocular rivalry, including neural adaptation and noise. However, the importance of producing has challenged in several articles (Y.-J. Kim, Grabowecky, & Suzuki, 2006; Moreno-Bote, Rinzel, Rubin, 2007). We devised an “online” procedure reexamine role rivalry. Periods inserted into rivalry observation periods parametrically alter dynamics such that increased duration decreases dominance duration, which cannot be accounted by Analysis average durations their variance (coefficient variation) provides evidence increasingly important noise alternations as a given period continues time, consistent with recent computational models.
