摘要: ObjectiveTo determine, using a consensus based methodology, the rate and nature of adverse events (AEs) among patients admitted to acute medicine, surgery obstetrics in large teaching hospital Scotland.MethodsRetrospective case-note review 450 medical, nursing medication records identify classify events.ResultsFor 354 whose length stay was greater than 24 hours, overall event 7.9% which ranged from 0% obstetrics, 7.2% medicine 13% surgery.
