摘要: Local fishery managers in Lake Sahajarvi tried to increase pikeperch yields by increasing the minimum allowed mesh size from 45 60 mm and limit 37 40 cm. However, due slow growth of these measures may not be reasonable. Here, were modelled with an age size-structured yield-per-recruit model as a function size. Besides yields, also proportion landing immature caught different evaluated. The results showed that maximum per recruit can obtained 44 corresponding about 180 kg 1000 2 while estimated are only 46 kg. share is 0.4% nets very small average at maturity (24.8 cm TL ) both sexes. Because observed (k  = 0.11 L ∞  = 65.28 density (BPUE NORDIC nettings = 1200 g·net-1 high, most reasonable management measure improve could radically decrease population density.
