摘要: Objective: Nocturnal enuresis and constipation are common pediatric problems. The aim of this study was to assess the incidence in children with or without monosymptomatic primary nocturnal enuresis.Methods: included 5350 children, ages 5–19 years, who were surveyed detect enuresis. Of those surveyed, 679 (12.7%) had All questioned by mail a standard form that addressed their micturition defecation habits. invited Pediatric Urology Section University Hospital. 125 kept invitation. underwent an abdominal ultrasound. Also, these serum creatinine levels drawn plain films taken.Results: Constipation, defined as less than 3 bowel movements per week, seen 48 (7.06%). 4671 enuresis, only 68 (1.45%) constipation. difference between two groups statistically significant (z = −9.251; p 0.000). note, 10 (8%), evaluated at hospital, None abnormal neurologic examination. Finally, faecal loading detected on 8 evaluated, 7 sensitivity grading for denote population 87.5%.Conclusions: Children should be thoroughly assessed coexisting
