摘要: This study reports the expression domains of two murine HOX gene members HOX-5 complex (Hox-5.2, Hox-5.3). These genes have very similar homeodomain sequences, as well temporal and spatial specificities expression. They are both expressed at posterior levels in central nervous system, sclerotome derivatives a few internal organs. In addition to these which shared with other genes, transcripts from Hox-5.2 Hox-5.3 present high developing limbs. After an early homogeneous mesodermal limb bud cells, transcription becomes restricted cartilage-differentiating cells. addition, is marker for gonadal development. The possible involvement such during inductive processes or organogenesis discussed.
