摘要: ABSTRACT The present study focuses on the elemental characterization of fine and coarse particles collected at a coastal site southwestern Italy, in suburban area Calabria region. A chemical tracer analysis was carried out to identify major emission sources influencing atmospheric aerosol levels. Size-resolved particulate samples were during three 2-week seasonal sampling campaigns: autumn (19 October 2 November 2003), winter January February 2004) spring (26 April 10 May 2004). Ambient concentrations selected elements (Fe, Mn, Mg, Ca, V, Cu, Cr, Ni, Zn, Pb, Cd) associated size fractions determined using atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS). enrichment factor method applied, suggesting prevailing anthropogenic component for all detected elements, with Fe, Ca as exceptions.
