摘要: Abstract Four binary and two ternary experimental cloud point curves (CPC) for systems formulated with styrene (S), a dimethacrylate resin (DMAR), poly(butadiene-co-acrylonitrile) liquid rubbers terminated in vinyl (VTBN) or carboxyl groups (CTBN), are presented. Measured CPCs of the binaries DMAR–CTBN, DMAR–VTBN S–DMAR show upper critical solution temperature (UCST), while S–DMAR–rubbers liquid–liquid partial miscibility on DMAR–rubber sides. A Flory–Huggins (F–H) thermodynamic analysis three measured cloud-point data allows calculation respective interaction parameters their dependence. Interaction other binaries, S–CTBN (VTBN), were selected as set values that produced calculated spinodals, ternaries, tangent to diagrams at point. The was done taking into account molecular polydispersity CTBN, VTBN DMAR components. Final morphologies CTBN modified cured materials, obtained different weight DMAR, well correlated predicted both systems.
