摘要: For identification of risk factors for progression human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection, 746 homosexual men participating in a cohort study Amsterdam, The Netherlands, were studied since October 1984. A total 234 these HIV antibody-positive at baseline, and 52 seroconverted during follow-up. These 286 individuals categorized as high- low-risk to the acquired syndrome (AIDS) on basis presence or absence antigenemia, antibody core antigen, number T helper lymphocytes less than 0.5 x 10(9)/liter three more subsequential blood samples. Ninety-six (41%) seropositives 32 (62%) those who remained throughout period. Bivariate analyses revealed that educational level history herpes zoster associated with low- high-risk status, respectively. In multivariate analyses, sexual intercourse person had AIDS rapid disease progression. While is considered be marker progressive immunodeficiency, having points virulent properties persons. Because both seroconverters progression, it seems plausible being infected by factor relative short incubation
