摘要: Abstract We report on the identification of structural defects and oxygenated functional groups responsible for blue green photoluminescence (PL) from chemically derived graphene (CDG) thin films with help Raman imaging/spectroscopy, high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) PL analyses. In particular, we probe role in-plane edge functionalities evolution visible emissions CDGs after controlled hydrogenation oxygenation studies. The assignments various bands were corroborated thermogravimetric FTIR analyses in are directly correlated analysis. Our studies reveal that emission spectrum can be tuned by hydrogen oxygen treatments. Two range ∼497–502 nm ∼534–551 nm assigned to COOH C O sub-band energy states belonging sites, while is attributed localised sp 2 / 3 domains epoxy related CDG materials. study demonstrates tunability materials through selective manipulation at sites.
