Primary Bone Marrow Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma Presenting as Transverse Myelitis

摘要: Primary bone marrow diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (BM-DLBCL) is uncommon, with prior reports largely limited to small case series. Here we report the of a patient who presented neurologic deficits consistent acute transverse myelitis and was found have DLBCL isolated marrow. We follow this review literature summarizing 107 reported cases BM-DLBCL. Consistent our case, indicates that BM-DLBCL characterized by (1) frequent presentation cytopenias B symptoms (2) predominant non-germinal center phenotype (3) aggressive disease high International Prognostic Index score low overall survival, median survival 10.0 months in cohort.
