摘要: The vast majority ( congruent with 90%) of embryonic mesencephalic dopamine (DA) neurons die following transplantation to the striatum. Recent reports indicate that at least a subpopulation grafted cells undergo apoptotic cell death early times implantation. This study examines temporal pattern and magnitude implantation suspension grafts. Two techniques, modified terminal deoxynucleotide-mediated nucleotide end labeling (TUNEL) technique cresyl violet staining, are used assess by detection its biochemical morphological identifiers, respectively. Male, Fischer 344 rats were examined 1, 4, 7, 28 days day 14 (E14) ventral DA-denervated Results overwhelming occurs within first 7 after transplantation. However, impact apoptosis over week grafting only appears limit tyrosine hydroxylase-immunoreactive (THir) neuron survival during 4 days. No significant differences between rates THir found. Therefore, it critical interval which an estimated 90% DA is postimplantation major contributor this apoptosis.
