摘要: Cadmium (Cd) is a toxic, heavy industrial metal that poses serious environmental health hazards to both humans and wildlife. Lately, Cd containing compounds have been classified as known human carcinogens epidemiological data show causal associations with prostate, breast lung cancer. The molecular mechanisms involved in Cd-induced carcinogenesis are poorly understood only now beginning be elucidated. effects of chronic exposure recently become great interest due the development malignancies tumorigenesis animal. Briefly, various vitro studies demonstrate can act mitogen, stimulate cell proliferation, inhibit apoptosis DNA repair, induce several mammalian tissues organs. Thus, malignant transformations warrant further investigation. In this review, we will focus on recent evidence leading general tissue specific follow transformed malignancies. addition, review considers less defined such epigenetic modification autophagy, which thought play role transformation.
