摘要: Coal oxidation is a natural phenomenon, It may begin in the pit itself or during operations of extraction, preparation, transportation and storage. A fresh coal more reactive to oxygen than weathered i.e. it liable spontaneous heating. To see rate decrease rate, first samples were taken three prepared from each sample. First sample was same as while second obtained by oxidizing at 200 degree C for 1 day. Third 3 Then susceptibility these checked crossing point temperature method, differential thermal analysis wet potential method. For experimentation purpose total 15 taken. Among 6 SECL, 2 MCL, CCL, SCCL. collected Indonesia compare it’s characteristics with Indian coals. The intrinsic property both oxidized determined proximate analysis. Similarly heating calculated potential. From experimental results found that volatile matter content increases liability decreases oxidation. coals high fixed carbon change significant even after day While case low not too significant. expected finding this work will help deciding whether adopt any precautionary measures
