摘要: To assess influence of feeding milk replacer alone and with probiotic (Lactobacillus acidophillus) supplementation on pre-weaning growth performance nutrient utilization, 48 Malpura lambs 7d age were distributed randomly into three equal groups. Lambs maintained individually under regimens ad libitum creep mixture along green dry roughage (C-0; Control), the same supplemented (C-MR), or in combination live culture (C-MRP). allowed to suckle their respective dams morning evening till 91d age, fed leaves Prosopis cinereria cowpea hay. Pre-weaning terms weaning weight (20.7 kg, P=0.009), average daily gain (ADG; 183.1g, P=0.003) feed conversion ratio was higher (P=0.019) C-MRP as compared control (C0).
