Synthesis and characterization of porous microspheres bearing pyrrolidone units

摘要: Porous microspheres of glycydyl methacrylate (GMA) cross-linked with trimethylolpropane trimethacrylate (TRIM) were prepared toluene as porogen by suspension-emulsion polymerization. With increasing molar ratio the functional monomer to cross-linker, epoxy group content increases significantly whereas parameters porous structure (specific surface area and total pore volume) decreases. In order obtain adsorbents bearing groups network was modified subsequent reaction pyrrolidone. The materials studied using elemental analysis, infrared spectroscopy, atomic force microscopy (AFM), attenuated reflection (ATR) Raman thermal gravimetry. Additionally, polymers sorption capacity towards Cu(II) investigated.
