摘要: Millenarian movements provide a dramatic expression of discontent with the present order and an anticipation its imminent radical transformation. When they arise within context cultural confrontation, in which limits indigenous culture are seen for first time against perspective advanced—and advancing—civilization, may at times incorporate their vision millenial condition some desirable aspects that civilization. Indeed, under suitable circumstances begin chiliastic expectations end by passing to major involvement larger societies modern world.
