摘要: Environmentally friendly finishing methods for imparting antimicrobial properties to various textiles are very desirable. The purpose of the present study is investigate synthesis, characterization, and application chitosan (Ch) derivatives containing Ag, Cu Zn nanoparticles (NPS) on wool yarn. Ch loaded with NPs was studied by Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Dynamic light scattering (DLS), Fourier Transform Infra-Red (FTIR) Differential Calorimetry (DSC). Wool yarns were treated Ch-NPs samples analyzed SEM. weight gain results indicated successful surface modification fibers Ch-NPs. showed excellent activities (~ 100%) against Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus) Escherichia coli (E. coli). had generally high (> 80%) even after 10 washing cycles. can be considered as an environmentally method finishing.
