摘要: The reaction to synthesize diphenyl carbonate (DPC) by an oxidative carbonylation of phenol with CO and O2 has been found proceed through the second-order concentration. activation energy Ea, ΔS ΔH are 27.0 kcal mol−1, −6.43 cal mol−1 26.3 respectively. kinetic additive data obtained agree proposed mechanism as follows: Pd(OAc)2 reacts ammonium phenoxy salt give AcOPdOPh which then form AcOPdCOOPh. This species leads PhOPdCOOPh undergoes reductive elimination DPC Pd(0). Pd(0) is reoxidized Pd(II) help a heteropolyacid very effectively.
