摘要: Abstract This study consisted of eight interviews done with psychologists in private practice, four female and male, European American origin. Their responses to questions about decision making regarding fees provide fertile ground for future research. Psychologists' thoughts fee-setting adjustment appear be complex widely variable. Although the findings are limited due sample size homogeneity, results suggest that: may ambivalent discussing their fees; managed care practices undercutting a willingness therapists do pro bono, sliding or adjusted fee work; gender analysis should include family-of-origin socioeconomic status decisions; women considerably more flexible adjusting increasingly eager find self-pay clients instead third party pay constraints burdens such payers; often confused ethical ...
