摘要: In the last century, world has experienced huge and various types of environmental threats. An important group them is generated from wide use fossil fuel such as petroleum source energy in industries, urban development transportation. Hydrocarbons are main constituents fuels thus hydrocarbons possible pollution worldwide. Petroleum enter environment accidental oil spill, natural leaks, industrial releases, vehicles or byproducts commercial domestic uses (Ou et al., 2004). include several categories normal alkanes (saturated, n-alkane), unsaturated hydrocarbons, non-symmetric cyclic (terpanes) polycyclic aromatic (PAHs). Predominance these compounds compartments samples may indicate pollution. hydrocarbon disperse via atmospheric transportation and/or lateral transport. contaminants subject to processes changes after production release degradation, photooxidation decay. The trend over depends on their chemical characteristics depositional locations. Locations depository sediments under sea bed surface usually keep contents unchanged.
