Ecosystem health assessment of urban rivers and lakes — Case study of “the six lakes” in Beijing, China

摘要: The assessment of the ecosystem health urban rivers and lakes is scientific basis for their management ecological restoration. This study developed a three-level indicator system its assessment. results indicated that: Zhonghai Nanhai are in state transition from unhealthy to critical all other states. Water environmental quality, structure function aquatic ecosystem, waterfront areas were constraints. was ranked as poor others very poor. However, environment better than others, sums degree membership healthy close 0.6. restorations these moderate. under 0.3, it difficult restore lakes. Some suggestions on restoration six proposed: ①To control non-point pollution improve water quality entering into lakes; ②To hydrological conditions ③To rehabilitate areas.
