Investigating the Reliability of Local Empirical Pseudopotential for Band Structure of PbTe by Comparing Calculated Optical and Photoelectric Properties with Experimental Data

摘要: A comparison is made between calculations based on the empirical pseudopotential method and optical photoelectric data of PbTe. The agreement found with such experimental generally good concerning conduction high energy valence bands. In regard data, results are comparable or better than obtained by previous authors basis APW-k. p method. critical point analysis main structures occurring in calculated properties shows that volume effects BZ cannot be disregarded assignment. On a fait une entre les calculus bases sur la methode du pseudopotentiel empirique et le donnes optiques photoelectriques de PbTc. En general touve un bon accord avec experimentaux. Nos sont comparables ou meilleurs que resultats obtenus par d'autres auteurs base p. Une analyse d'un certain nombre des points critiques paraissant dans proprietes qu'on calcalees, montre effets zone Brillouin ne peuvent pas ětre negliges classification měmes.
