摘要: The purpose of this chapter is to review the key themes earlier chapters and identify potential growthpoints for future research into biological bases personality. Attention paid concept arousal because it a construct that integrates many contributions. Many theories personality see individual as relatively passive, victim predisposition; however, when looked at system seeking stable equilibrium, attention must be activity, feedback, control. All living systems transmit energy, possible mechanisms acquisition, storage, release are related traits psychopathological conditions. Lessons may learned from family behavior necessarily deal with interacting communicating systems. power control over others appears have been neglected in research, although some fields seen primary source motivation. Finally, issue values briefly addressed beliefs (themselves part function determination) appear powerful determining goals behavior.
