摘要: Abstract The weak polyelectrolyte sodium polyacrylate, NaPA, and the neutral poly(vinyl pyrrolidone), PVP, were combined effects of complexation both in solution at nanoparticle interface studied under basic pH conditions. Using a combination SANS PCS, we demonstrate that attractive inter-polymer interactions occur between PVP NaPA (for polymers with molecular weights equal to 40 K 60 K respectively); typically, no are reported above critical 4–5. Polymer bulk observed larger weight studied. mass ratios polymer also affect bulk, indicating influenced by charges present system. addition silica dispersion previously adsorbed particles is shown led desorption destabilisation system leading particle aggregation or even flocculation. data show interparticle potential changes from being repulsive bare PVP-coated on NaPA. seen amount desorbed, whereas had an effect particles.
