摘要: Expectations of Job Satisfaction Based on Three Common Leadership Styles by Ethel Chiles MBA, Capella University, 2008 BS, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State 1997 Dissertation Submitted in Partial Fulfillment the Requirements for Degree Doctor Philosophy Organizational Change Walden University May 2015 Abstract Some leadership styles can produce job dissatisfaction, resulting labor turnover financial loss to organizations. Despite these known consequences, there is a lack research perceptions satisfaction hourly wageworkers. This phenomenological study was used understand experiences non-management employees how management affected their satisfaction. Bass’s theory, Herzberg’s dual factor Maslow’s hierarchy needs guided this study. The primary questions were explore themes affecting selected workplace. Data collection included in-depth interviews with 25 wageworkers who completed at least one annual performance discussion first-line supervisor.
