摘要: A quaternary ammonium salt modified chitosan magnetic composite adsorbent (CS-CTA-MCM) was prepared by combination of Fe3O4 nanoparticles. Various techniques were used to characterize the molecular structure, surface morphology, and feature this adsorbent. CS-CTA-MCM employed for removal Cr(VI) methyl orange (MO), an anionic dye, from water in respective single binary systems. Compared with (CS-MCM) without modification, shows evidently improved adsorption capacities both pollutants ascribed additional groups. Based on equilibrium study, MO bears more affinity than causing a considerable extent preferential dye over metal ions their aqueous mixture. However, at weak acidic solutions, is due efficient forms, i.e. dichromate monovalent chromate, binding chitosan-based Thus chromium could be together suitable pH conditions. The isotherms kinetics indicate that adsorptions follow homogeneous monolayer chemisorption process. This after saturated rapidly separated easily regenerated using dilute NaOH solutions then virtually reused little capacity loss.
