摘要: Electricity remains an essential commodity and is one of the most used forms energy which can be generated from renewable non-renewable (re)sources. Resource assessment has always constituted initial first step in determining potential a resource to produce useful energy. In this work, two-dimensional aperiodic tidal series data are assessed using continuous wavelet transform method (CWT). The were obtained Hydrography Office Nigerian Navy (HONN) Apapa, Lagos, for period 2011–2015. sites considered work Apapa Lagos (latitude 6°27.0′N, longitude 3°23.0′E), Bar 6°24.0′N, 3°23.9′E), Bakana New Calabar River 4°44.0′N, 6°58.0′E). CWT method, more commonly periodic data, was modified applied data. A fast accurate computational MATLAB Toolbox/code [non-uniform (NU-CWT)] developed characterize precisely elucidate results. Furthermore, because investors developers require information on economic feasibility their investments, levelized cost (LCOE) analysis also performed understand implications resource. results indicate technically economically significant potential.
