Ghost properties of algebraically extended theories of gravitation

摘要: Recently a technique for extending general relativity called algebraic extension was shown to yield only five classes of gravitational theories (general plus four extensions). The particle spectra these are analysed and it is that one extensions ghost free. Two inequivalent result from this at the linearised level. One version Moffat's theory gravitation (1979) other new which possesses an additional gauge invariance has been associated with closed string.
