摘要: Tritium is an isotope of hydrogen, produced in the upper level atmosphere. It enters water cycle after its oxidation and through precipitation. The measurement tritium concentration rainwater great importance because it can be used for hydrology investigations such as recharge mode or vulnerability aquifers. For this purpose, samples were collected a period 16 months from October 2002 to January 2004 sampling station at Ioannina, northwestern Greece. Each sample was filtered measured without any further treatment activity, using super low-level background, liquid scintillation analyzer. Five mL mixed with 15 cocktail, specially designed measurements beta activity 500 min. Results show that during period, varied up two fold, increasing spring summer months. concentrations rainwater, which ranged 9 {+-} 4 23 5 TU, local studies.
