摘要: Abstract There are a variety of macromolecular systems exhibiting structural and dynamic heterogeneity, in which expected NMR signals not always fully visible by single set measurements. The former includes hydrogels synthetic polymers, polysaccharides, aggregated proteins, the latter can be further converted to amyloids or prions. They very important as materials for biomedical industrial applications, biological functions including host-defence systems, components tissues, key substances leading several serious diseases. In addition, membrane proteins typical dynamically heterogeneous give rise suppressed peaks depending upon local protein dynamics. particular, it is emphasized that presence such affords an invaluable means determine their information. this chapter, we first briefly review parameters able analyse features. Then, discuss two types more detail: structurally and/or systems. studies on polysaccharide gels fibrils reviewed with emphasis revealing secondary structures aspects. Dynamic aspects also discussed relation function. It turned out combined use solution (and solution-like) state solid-state technique essential observe from portions different mobility. We emphasize recording spectra based dipolar decoupled (or direct detection) magic angle spinning (DDMAS) approach reveal flexible these because conventional NMR, using cross-polarization (CPMAS) alone, sufficient detecting solid-like portions.
