摘要: Elderly African American lesbians in rural society represent diversity across numerous demographic characteristic and social positions that require specific responses to their needs. The population must address issues related age, race/ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation. In this chapter a trans-disciplinary examination of relevant is examined. order do so, profile elderly presented. Additional information presented on the concepts feminism womanism, construct positive marginality, characteristics how women exist such context, cultural homophobia black community, racism white gay community. Psychosocial adjustment considers intersection orientation, race statuses. Finally, healthcare, education, public policy are examined with respect elder lesbians.
